Fall Book Club: Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren
Church is one of the places where most of us look to encounter the presence of God, but what does it look like to encounter God in the overlooked moments and routines of our daily lives? As a part of our fall series, we'll be exploring just that! To help us along the way, we invite you to join us in reading Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred practices in everyday life. 
While most book clubs are limited to discussing the various chapters of a book, the emphasis of our time together will go beyond this to also explore what each other's ordinary lives look like and how we can embrace spiritual practices that highlight the sacred in the ordinary and the ordinary in the sacred.

We will be assembling tie blankets for the warming center in the Hospitality Center. Please bring fabric scissors if you have one. We have just a few blankets left to assemble! 

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper during worship the first Sunday of each month. We practice an open Communion table, meaning all baptized Christians are welcome to share the Bread and Cup as we meet Jesus around the Table.

This ministry will be offered to the public on Tuesdays in the Faith Center.  Coffee and light food are offered as part of this ministry to our downtown neighbors.  

Cereal Sunday is a relaxed, youth-friendly spin on Sunday School. Grab your favorite bowl of Cereal, hang out with friends, and dive into real talks about faith, life, and what matters most.

Cereal Sundays are open to youth grades 4-12 on the second Sunday of the month.

Children In Worship:  (4 years old - 3rd grade)
Children(PK -5th grades)  are welcome to come forward for the Children’s Focus during our Sunday worship and to then either proceed to Children in Worship or return to their seats for the remainder of worship.  The children will separate into two rooms to hear God’s Word, which will be in the form of Bible stories and craft, appropriate to their ages. The groups are 4–6 years old and 7–9 years old.

This ministry will be offered to the public on Tuesdays in the Faith Center.  Coffee and light food are offered as part of this ministry to our downtown neighbors.  

FirstHope Community Meal is a free monthly meal offered to the Sheboygan community at Hope Church.  It is open to everyone.  The program is a jointly-funded ministry of Christ Community Church and Hope Reformed Church.  It is also served by volunteers from each of the churches and Faith Reformed Church in Cedar Grove.

Children and families are invited to join us for our annual pumpkin farm outing at Bulitz Farm on Sunday, October 19 following worship.  We will enjoy a hayride to the field to pick out a pumpkin, feed the goats, and (hopefully) find our way out of the corn maze!  To help us better prepare, please sign up at the Welcome Desk
